                      A brief history

                      Established in 1974, Deakin was Victoria's fourth university and first regional university. 

                      Deakin today has five campuses: one in Burwood in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, two in the port city of Geelong, one in Warrnambool on the south-west coast of Victoria and our online Cloud Campus.
