                      Assessing and evaluating

Assessing and evaluating is an ongoing practice within subject and program design at Deakin.

Student assessment is related to the real world, and provides evidence of learning achievement. Through the evaluation of teaching, along with support and unit resources, we seek to improve learning and teaching outcomes.

                      Higher Education Academy (HEA) fellowships

The HEA fellowship scheme provides individuals with international recognition of their practice, impact and leadership of teaching and learning. The fellowships are increasingly recognised in the higher education sector in Australia and internationally. Deakin will aim to include HEA fellowships as a component of a larger program of professional development for learning and teaching.
